ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH TEST OF EXISTING OPEN AND CLOSED TYPE GUY INSULATORS AND A FEASIBILITY STUDY OF IMPROVED DESIGNS FOR HIGH STRENGTH ALUMOWELD CABLES.

Abstract

Results of testing strings of open and closed type fail-safe guy insulators show a linear relationship between peak-wet flashover rating and number of units in a string. The effect of grading rings and spacing of insulator units is demonstrated. (Author)
