Abstract

The report includes the description of the alternator, installation and operation instructions, and development test data needed to ascertain the capability of the machine. The testing conducted was undertaken to verify the attainment of the design objectives for this machine. Operation of the alternator at full load conditions was not conducted because available laboratory equipment was not adequate for such a high power level.
