DEVELOPMENT OF COOLING DEVICE.
Abstract
The report details progress in the following areas: (1) Development of a miniature vaneaxial fan with improved air delivery and efficiency. Various configurations are shown and results detailed. (2) Design and development of a motor suitable for driving the vaneaxial fan. One design using existing laminations has been checked out, and a new lamination has been designed. (3) Since the air bearing design is contingent on the lamination configuration, work on the air bearing has been temporarily halted until a motor lamination figure has been arrived at. (Author)
