EQUILIBRIUM PROCESSES,

Abstract

Equilibrium processes of Markov processes on arbitrary state spaces are defined, and for certain subsets B of the state space we show that the strong law of large numbers and central limit theorem hold for (1) the total number of particles to visit B by time n, (2) the number of distinct particles to visit B by time n, and (3) the number of particles, which by time n leave B never to return.
