THERMAL AND ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITIES OF BIOLOGICAL FLUIDS AND TISSUES.

Abstract

The objective of the research program has been the experimental and analytical determination and correlation of thermal and electrical conductivities of biological fluids and tissues both under normal and stressed conditions. The stressing consists of freeze-thaw processes at slow and rapid rates. A second objective of the program has been to establish the relations between changes in these physical properties of biological specimens and the physical stresses imposed upon them. (Author)
