CALCULATIONS OF BURNING VELOCITIES FOR HYDROGEN-BROMINE MIXTURES: I. MALLARD-LE CHATELIER EQUATION,

Abstract

Experimental measurements were made of burning velocities in hydrogen-bromine mixtures of various types. Calculations are now being made to check against these data the predictions of certain theoretical equations for burning velocity. In this report results of calculations based on the thermal theory of Mallard and Le Chatelier are given. These are not in good agreement with experimental data. (Author)
