GREAT LAKES ICE COVER, WINTER 1964-65.

Abstract

This report describes the aerial ice reconnaissance program carried out by the U. S. Lake Survey during the winter of 1964-65, and presents 56 ice charts resulting from 27 one-day flights covering Lakes Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie. Areas where photomapping of the ice cover was done by the U. S. Air Force are also indicated on a chart, and a photo mosaic of the northern end of Green Bay is included. (Author)
