CALCULATION OF THIN-WALLED AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE-TYPE SECTIONS WITH OPENING,

Abstract

In the article, a method for calculating the concentration and redistribution of stresses in the area of a rectangular opening in a close-ribbed, cylindrical, thin-walled structure like an aircraft fuselage is presented. It is found that the elasticity of the fuselage sectors on either side of the sector with the opening, as well as the length of the opening, have essential influence on the concentration of stress around the opening.
