INTEGRATED SILICON DEVICE TECHNOLOGY. VOLUME VIII. DIODES.

Abstract

Diodes are discussed as elements in silicon integrated devices. The three main sections treat general theory and properties, the specific properties of integrated device diodes, and innovations and results. Emphasis is placed on explaining diode behavior, on particular integrated structures, and on properties peculiar to integrated diodes. It is concluded that diode behavior is not always explained by simple theory and that increased use of a variety of diode properties in integrated devices is possible. (Author)
