SOME PROBLEMS OF THE WELDING OF TITANIUM AND ITS ALLOYS BY MELTING,

Abstract

An investigation was conducted of the sources of saturation of the seam metal with oxygen and hydrogen during the welding of titanium, the possible redistribution of these gases at the interface of the regions of alpha and beta titanium under the conditions of the welding cycle, and the residual deformations during argon arc welding of titanium alloys.
