STEADY TEMPERATURES AND THERMAL STRESSES IN A SPACE RADIATOR ELEMENT.

Abstract

The paper describes the general investigation in the field of steady temperature and thermal stresses distribution for an element of radiator, of cylindrical geometry. A set of two simultaneous equations is written, and graphs are prepared, from which the temperature distribution can be immediately calculated. Also, for thermal stresses, the employment of extensively tabulated functions is required. (Author)
