AIRBORNE NIGHT AIRGLOW MEASUREMENTS IN THE SOUTH ATLANTIC MAGNETIC ANOMALY.

Abstract

Measurements of the night airglow 5577 A and 6300 OI lines were made in the South Atlantic Magnetic Anomaly from an Air Force KC-135 aircraft. The data does not show any intensity enhancement over that found outside the anomaly region. (Author)
