OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE HAZARDOUS CIRCUIT TESTER TYPE 0-2.

Abstract

The Hazardous Circuit Tester, Type 0-2, is an instrument designed specifically for measuring the resistance of electrically fired igniters in fuzes, squibs and detonators without damaging or accidentally firing them during live test operations. This is accomplished by limiting the energy in the actual test circuit to a maximum of ten micro-watts. The operation of the Type 0-2 differs little from that of any conventional ohmmeter. Designed for ordnance testing, it has only two controls, an On-Off Switch and a Zero-Adjust knob. Two connectors, marked 10 Ohms and 100 Ohms provide for the selection of its two ranges. (Author)
