COUPLING OF WAVES IN A HOT INHOMOGENEOUS ANISOTROPIC ELECTRON PLASMA.

Abstract

The coupling of waves in a region of varying density in a hot anisotropic electron plasma is studied theoretically. The influence of the width of the inhomogeneous region and of the angle between the propagation vector and the static magnetic field are investigated. The latter parameter is shown to be very important. (Author)
