SOME RESULTS ON THE BINARY CONVOLUTIONAL TREE CODE GENERATORS.

Abstract

A simple and practical search procedure for obtaining the binary convolutional tree code generators is presented. A tabulation of the good generators of rate 2/3, and 1/12 is given. The codes of rate 1/2 and 1/3 found by this procedure are comparable with Bussgang's results by exhaustive searching. (Author)
