ACCURACY OF DETERMINING CLOUD BOUNDARIES BY RADAR.

Abstract

The fields of cloud heights as measured by radar and by aircraft are compared, and the errors in the determination of cloud boundaries by radar are examined. The accuracy of the determination of cloud boundaries is evaluated on the basis of experimental data. (Author)
