THE EVAPORATOR TUBE - STATE OF THE ART,

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the literature on the forced or natural convection flow of an evaporating and/or boiling fluid in tubes and channels of various geometries and orientations, with emphasis on those conditions where the flow enters the heated section at the saturation temperature, and leaves after net vapor generation has taken place. No attempt is made to review all of the correlations and experiments that are currently available in the literature, only those which seem to have received significant support from a variety of users.
