DEVELOPMENT OF A HEATED GRAPHITE HOLLOW -CATHODE DISCHARGE TUBE FOR THE STUDY OF MOLECULAR SPECTRA.

Abstract

The first part of this report points out the principal references giving this way a survey of the numerous fields of application of the hollow-cathode discharge. The second part is devoted to the description of a hollow-cathode discharge the cathode of which is a heated graphite furnace. This installation was developed with the aim of bringing some contribution to the knowledge of carbonaceous molecules of special interest for astrophysics. (Author)
