ON THE LIFETIME OF SUNSPOT GROUPS.
Abstract
A study is made of the age-frequency distribution of sunspot groups. The analysis covers the interval 1888-1955. The results are critically compared with the quantitative deductions made by previous authors on the basis of a paper by Gnevishev. (Author)
