Abstract

The kinetics of the interaction of O-ethyl S-n-alkyl methylthiophosphonates with horse serum cholinesterase and bovine erythrocyte acetylcholinesterase was investigated. The water-alkyl hydrolysis constants of the studied compounds were determined. The anticholinesterase activity of the O-ethyl S-n-alkyl methylthiophosphonates strongly depends upon the length of the alkyl radical. (Author)
