ON THE BRUECKNER-GOLDSTONE LINKED CLUSTER EXPANSION FORMULA.

Abstract

It is shown that in the case of one particle outside or one hole inside a closed shell, a linked cluster expansion formally indentical with that for a closed shell with all self-energy diagrams eliminated can be obtained even if there is degeneracy. (Author)
