THE SOCIAL CONSCIENCE OF THE CHRISTIAN SOUTH.

Abstract

Surveys the historical development as well as the physical and organizational structures of the various religious bodies predominant in the South East region composed of eleven states. Illustrates the pattern of religion in the South East by statistical material showing the presence and prevalence of predominant religious groups, their strength and growth. Analyzes the influence of religion on the political, economic, and cultural structure of this area, as well as the influence of political, economic, cultural and other factors on the religions.
