HYDRAULIC ANALYSIS OF A 15-HORSEPOWER, FREE FLOODING, SUBMERGED ELECTRIC MOTOR.

Abstract

This is a report of the estimations made for hydraulic losses in a submersible electric motor. Wherever possible application of established equations relating loss to a specific geometry were used. For geometric areas not covered, a variety of extensions to these equations were employed. Validity of the analysis is shown by close agreement with experimental data. (Author)
