EROSIVE ABRASION THEORY OF THE BLADE APPARATUS OF CENTRIPETAL TURBINES,

Abstract

An investigation was made of the laws governing the motion of solid particles in the flow portion of a centripetal turbine; an evaluation was made of the particle sizes which do not bring about erosional abrasion and some design modifications leading to minimization of such abrasion are indicated.
