SURFACE ACTIVE PROPERTIES AND DETERGENCY OF SOLUTIONS OF VARIOUS SYNTHETIC WASHING AGENTS AND OF DETERGENTS PREPARED FROM THEM,

Abstract

The surface tension and wetting ability of various materials is discussed. The properties of alkyl sulfates made from alcohols obtained from coconut and spermaceti oils, synthines, and synthetic alcohols; A azolate; NP-1 sulfonol; ceryl benzene sulfonol; alkyl sulfonate, etc. are examined. The effect of the addition of electrolytes to the detergents is studied. (Author)
