A LOW TEMPERATURE NEUTRON IRRADIATION FACILITY FOR STUDIES IN HOT-ATOM CHEMISTRY AND RADIATION DAMAGE STUDIES IN MATERIALS.

Abstract

A low temperature neutron irradiation facility has been constructed and tested for the AMRA research reactor. A description of the apparatus is given and results obtained for the low temperature (-80 C) neutron irradiation of mixed crystals of sodium bromate-sodium chlorate are presented. (Author)
