PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE POLYCARBONATE PLASTIC FILM.

Abstract

A slip polycarbonate film was made in gauges of .25 and .50 mil. This was produced without loss in mechanical or electrical strength. Biaxially oriented .25 and .50 mil polycarbonate film was produced by a direct process from the extruder through the drafting rolls and the tenter frame. At the .25 mil gauge trim take off is a little troublesome and some modifications are being made. (Author)
