Abstract

Conclusions. The requirement to load and off-load cargo from Marine Corps KC-130 aircraft can be accomplished by either the Model 2161 or the MACL-1 Loaders. (b) This requirement can be fulfilled by the MACL-1 at a lower system cost in dollars and manpower. (c) The MACL-1 is more suitable for Marine Corps use in the expeditionary environment. Recommendation. Procurement of the MACL-1 is recommended.
