OSCILLATIONS IN A CLASS OF MULTILOOP SYSTEMS CONTAINING TWO NONLINEARITIES.

Abstract

This paper presents a procedure for the analysis of a class of multiloop nonlinear systems containing two nonlinearities. The approach treats the effects of the linear and nonlinear elements separately, with the result that stability can be determined and limit cycles predicted from the open-loop frequency response data of the individual components. The technique is graphical and allows simple design to be performed. An example is given; limit cycles are predicted and compared with the results of computer simulation. (Author)
