AUTOMATIC ALTERNATE ROUTING STUDY.

Abstract

This report describes a recommended Hybrid System which uses complete-path, real-time routing to subscribers whose locations are known, and saturation signaling when locations are not known. Appendixes A and B contain a description of the algorithm used for computing routes and flow diagrams for the call processing procedure. Appendixes C and D are devoted to the derivation of an analytical representation of a network. (Author)
