DESIGN OBJECTIVES FOR TELEMETRY R-F TRANSMISSION LINKS FOR THE PERIOD 1960 TO 1970. REVISION NO. 3,

Abstract

Performance characteristics, design limitations, and special operational features required in a general-purpose UHF telemetry transmission link are presented. Separate consideration is given to the transmitter, power amplifier, preamplifier-converter, distribution amplifier, channel-selection receiver, and receiving antenna portions of the link. Flexibility of operation and provision for adapting the ground station complex to several basic applications are emphasized. (Author)
