PRIMERS AND EXPLOSIVES.
Abstract
Three papers describe methods for determining the detonating capacity of primers, the detonation characteristics of certain mitroglycerine explosives, and the properties of several new Soviet explosives used in mining and blasting operations. Graphical data on detonation velocities are presented and tabular information is given on the performance of various explosives developed in recent years. (Author)
