ELECTRIC AIR HEATER FOR SUPERSONIC WIND TUNNELS.

Abstract

In the hypersonic wind tunnel air cycle, the electric air heater is used as a vernier temperature control for heated air prior to the time that it enters the settling section. This report describes the air heater and may also serve as an operating manual. Appendices contain specifications, maintenance instructions and design information. (Author)
