PROCEDURES FOR DERIVING TRAINING OBJECTIVES FOR JUNIOR OFFICERS.

Abstract

The procedures start by taking a comprehensive look at the total job and listing all the job activities. A questionnaire is then used to rapidly obtain extensive judgments about these activities and their currently existing performance requirements. This information is analyzed to narrow the scope of further investigation to just the job activities of most critical training interest. This is followed by the specification of the essential knowledge and skill requirements for the selected job activities. (Author)
