DIGITAL DETECTION OF BINARY CODED RADAR SIGNALS,

Abstract

This report describes a method for locating one or two radar targets using pseudo random coding and digital processing of the return signal. The process time required is twice that of a matched filter, but instrumentation is simpler. If two targets are present, they are resolved proportional to the strength of their echoes in the high noise case, provided their relative phase is slowly varying. (Author)
