SUPERCONDUCTING THIN-FILM NUCLEAR-PARTICLE DETECTORS,

Abstract

It was found that a thin superconducting film can be used as a detector of nuclear particles. Although the potential speed and noise advantages have not been fully realized, the results obtained are thought to be very promising and in no way suggest that these sought-after advantages may not be attainable.
