CURRENT OSCILLATION AND SATURATION IN CADMIUM SULPHIDE,

Abstract

Experiments were performed in order to explain the observed double current saturation in CdS. The phenomenon appears to be caused by simultaneous acoustic oscillation in a shear mode and a longitudinal mode. Current oscillations in the 25 - 35 MHz range were also observed but no adequate explanation can be given. (Author)
