METHOD OF DESIGNING CURRENT PICKOFFS FOR GYRO POTENTIOMETERS,

Abstract

A methodology is presented for the design of potentiometer pickoffs for gyro instruments to prevent loss of contact under vibrational loadings and to minimize contact and winding wear. Equations and graphical solutions are presented for cantilever brush supports using various materials. (Author)
