AERODYNAMICS OF RAREFIED GASES (COLLECTION I).

Abstract

This book is devoted to the basic questions of the aerodynamics of rarefied gases. It gives the derivation of the integral kinetic equations and formulates the problems of the aerodynamics of rarefied gases, certain methods of solving kinetic equations and their applications to a series of concrete problems are described, the probabilistic nature of the phenomena of collisions of particles among themselves and with the surfaces of immersed bodies are investigated. The collection is intended for engineers, scientists, post-graduate and student physicists, interested in the problems of the aerodynamics of rarefied gases. (Author)
