RADIAL VELOCITIES OF EXTENDED SOURCES BY A SLITLESS SCANNING TECHNIQUE.

Abstract

Description and tests of a double-beam pulse counting spectrophotometer using a tunable interference filter to measure radial velocities of extended astronomical sources. Preliminary report of observations of stars, globular clusters, planetary nebulae and galaxies made in March and May 1966 with the 36-inch reflector of Mcdonald Observatory. (Author)
