FEASIBILITY STUDY RELATING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW HYDROGEN-3 (TRITIUM) ACTIVATED SELF-LUMINOUS COMPOUND.

Abstract

Research studies directed towards the development of a self-luminous paint activated by H-3 (tritium) are reported. The results obtained indicate that it is definitely feasible and practicable to incorporate tritium with the structural framework of a zinc sulfide phosphor by means of a carrier agent such as a hydride-forming component.
