CHEMILUMINESCENT MATERIALS.
Abstract
Current results of a program designed to provide efficient peroxyoxalate chemiluminescent systems are described. The synthesis and chemiluminescent properties of a number of new chemiluminescent oxalate esters and amides are reported. Reaction condition studies relating to the effects of reactant concentrations and the effects of certain additives are discussed. The qualitative chemiluminescence efficiencies of a large number of fluorescers are summarized. (Author)
