STUDIES IN RADAR CROSS SECTIONS L - DIFFRACTION AND SCATTERING BY REGULAR BODIES IV: THE CIRCULAR CYLINDER

Abstract

A survey of electromagnetic and acoustical scattering by a circular cylinder is performed. Theoretical methods and results for infinite and semi- infinite cylinders, and experimental ones for finite cylinders, are included. Only time-harmonic fields are considered, and dielectric cylinders are not taken into account. (Author)
