FREQUENCY CONVERTER CV-(TX)-URM-85.

Abstract

The aim of this final report is to discuss the results of the investigation, analysis, and design techniques used in developing the frequency converter CV-(TX)-URM-85, a 14 Kc to 150 Kc plug-in tuning unit, to extend the frequency range of the Radio Interference Measuring Set AN/URM-85. The tuning unit is mechanically and electrically compatible with the main unit of the AN/URM-85 which is known as Receiver, Radio 1040/URM-85. Each special design consideration or problem is presented along with conclusions and recommendations. Test results relating frequency, gain and bandwidth stability vs. temperature are presented.
