ON THE MEASUREMENT OF MOOD.

Abstract

The report includes the following: usual and proposed definitions of the terms feeling, emotion, and mood; processes and methods used and problems faced in attempting to define and organize mood scales; a series of uses to which the scales have been put; a series of correlations of the scales with widely known temperament scales; and work concerning social desirability and faking.
