STEADY STATE INTERACTIONS AMONG INTERSECTING TRAINS OF CAPILLARY-GRAVITY WAVES.

Abstract

Steady state solutions are obtained by a classical perturbation procedure for the problem of intersecting trains of capillary-gravity waves. Valid to second order in the wave slope, these solutions demonstrate the possiblity of wave interactions that do not exhibit an energy flux among the various wave components. (Author)
