MINIATURE RECORDING OPTICAL PYROMETER.

Abstract

A miniature recording optical pyometer, based on a photovoltaic diode, has been developed for measuring temperatures in the range 2000 to 6000 F in hypersonic environments where thermocouples are inadequate. The devices have a rapid response and a raw signal that is a suitable input for standard strip recorders. (Author)
