PROGRAM GENDET: MANUAL FOR USE OF COMPUTER IN ENLISTED CLASSIFICATION PROJECT COMPASS, PART IV.
Abstract
The report describes the operation and use of Program GENDET, the fourth part of Project Compass, a Computer Assisted Classification and Assignment System. Program GENDET selects and assigns graduation rates and Naval Enlisted Classification Codes to recruits. These recruits were recommended for fleet assignments or were recommended for a naval school, but due to quota limitations, were unable to be selected for class 'A' school training. (Author)
