VAPOR DEPOSITED SILVER BROMIDE AS AN ION DETECTOR FOR MASS SPECTROGRAPHY.

Abstract

Vapor deposited films of silver bromide on glass plates were investigated as detectors for 20 KeV ions in mass spectrography. The sensitivity of the plates is slightly less than that of the Ilford Q-2, the contrast is greater, and the background fog is negligible. (Author)
