RADIONUCLIDES PRODUCED IN MAN BY HIGH ENERGY PROTONS.

Abstract

The activity of radionuclides produced by 150 MeV protons in targets of the elementary composition of the human brain and the whole human body was calculated from known or estimated spallation cross sections. The absorbed radiation dose due to delayed nuclear disintegrations was also estimated. (Author)
